If you hold or stake SQR tokens and are interested in becoming an active participant in the Magic Square DAO, it’s essential to take the following three steps to integrate yourself into the community and prepare for active governance:
Claim Your Magic DAO Discord Role
To ensure that only verified SQR holders and stakers are involved in DAO discussions, follow this simple process:
Visit our Snapshot community, where you’ll find a proposal titled “Get the Magic DAO Discord Role”.
Participate in this proposal, which will enable you to claim your Discord role on the campaign page.
Once you’ve claimed your role, join our Discord community and access the Magic DAO sub-channel.
Introduce Yourself to the Community
Upon entering the Magic DAO sub-channel on Discord, introduce yourself in the Magic Square DAO section. Share your interests, your reasons for joining, and what excites you about participating in our ecosystem. Building these early social connections will help you integrate into the community and facilitate easier collaboration on future projects and proposals.
Participate in Community Calls and Discussions
To get a better understanding of ongoing projects and the governance process, actively participate in Community Calls and other discussions. These are excellent opportunities to familiarize yourself with the current state of the ecosystem, voice your opinions, and contribute new ideas.
Being active in Discord will also help you learn about the proposal process and how to submit your own ideas effectively. Understanding this process is crucial to your involvement in the DAO, as a well-structured proposal makes it easier for the community to grasp and support your initiatives.
